...got no word about driving evacuees. I drove K. + Miss. Ferguson to church, got successfully round sandbags. Mr Jones preached. A woman (apparently on trial) played organ, but no pedals! She evidently didn’t know how, a miserable result, & practically no choir! Was enormously relieved that apparently no evacuees are coming.
