Artist Evening Lecture - Rita Duffy

Artist, Rita Duffy, in conversation at Enniskillen Castle Museums, Fermanagh. Her artwork The Security Barrier (1983) features in the Ulster Museum’s touring exhibition Troubles Art. She is a member of Aosdana, Ireland, an Honorary Member of the R.S.U.A. and an associate at the Goldsmiths College, London. Her work addresses subjects relating to Irish identity, history, politics and feminism. 

 


The Troubles Art exhibition is presented as part of the Making the Future project and features works by artists from Northern Ireland and beyond who have responded to the conflict through their artistic practice.
