Comic book summer programme for young people

Learn the art of comic book creation and work with leading comic book artists in this free week long programme.

You will learn the tricks of the trade to write, draw, colour and letter your own comic book story.

HOW WILL THE PROGRAMME WORK?

- Workshops will be delivered each day as live video calls on Zoom

- We'll deliver you an art pack in the post with the materials you'll need to complete the course

- Take part in online drawing and colouring sessions with comic and graphic designer Fiona Boniwell and writing workshops with editor and publisher Colin O'Mahoney

- You will develop, write and draw your own comic book story inspired by your own life

- An online community hosted through Slack will bring participants together to share their work

This programme is FREE and open to young people aged 10-16 and based in Northern Ireland or border counties.

Workshops take place each day from 20th - 24th July, 11.30am-1pm.
