Digital zine making programme

Learn the art of digital zine-making with the award-winning Shy Bairns artist collective in this free online programme delivered in partnership with Reimagine Remake Replay.

During the programme, Shy Bairns will give you the skills and support you need to develop your own digital zine through workshops in drawing, writing, photography and tips for scanning from your phone and more to get your voice heard.

You will also get the opportunity to take part in a session with our CultureLab exhibition Curator Niamh who will use objections from the collection to discuss culture, identity and representation.

How will this programme work?

-- Get an overview of the CultureLab exhibition and take part in a Q&A with Curator Niamh Baker.

-- You will receive a special pack in the post with materials and examples of museum collections to help you create your work.

-- Learn to create your response and work with the award winning Shy Bairns over four weeks to create your own digital zine.

-- Join an online community through Slack to share your work, thoughts and questions with others.
