Create your own horror film inspired poster guided by acclaimed artist Jacky Sheridan.
Illustrator and film buff Jacky Sheridan will lead participants through the process of designing an illustrated horror film poster.
During the two day programme at the Ulster Museum you will learn digital and hand drawn artistic skills, combining typography and imagery to create your impactful design.
How will this programme work?
- Supported by Jacky Sheridan, you will create a custom poster based on your favourite Halloween film
- You will develop knowledge of digital and hand drawn graphic design principles & poster illustration
- Visual Artist Johanna Leech will share some of her favourite film themed posters, to inspire you with your own design
- Art materials and iPads will be provided for everyone, though participants are welcome to bring their own if preferred.
This programme is FREE and open to young people aged 16-25.
Workshops take place at the Ulster Museum, Belfast on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th October, 11am-3pm each day.
Places are very limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please book early and only if you can guarantee commitment to attendance.
PLEASE NOTE:
Participants must bring and wear a face covering for unseated indoor activities and social distancing guidelines should be followed.
Participants should bring their own lunch and refreshments. There is the opportunity to purchase food and drinks from the Ulster Museum cafe.
All equipment will be provided.
