Cultural Harmony is a new interactive music programme that will allow participants to explore the history of music in Northern Ireland and work with leading musicians to write new songs.
Taking inspiration from music created during the 1970s and 1980s in Northern Ireland, the programme will feature a Q&A with John O'Neill, guitarist with The Undertones.
A creative session will help you make own musical instrument before lyric and songwriting development sessions with active musicians from across the country.
How will it work?
-- Listen as author Stuart Bailie interviews The Undertones guitarist John O'Neill and take part in a live Q&A session
-- Create your own musical instrument with household objects in a session led by artist facilitator Ed Devane
-- Learn the art of songwriting and work with a musician to create a new piece of music
-- Listen to a live online gig of finished songs from leading NI musicians
-- Join an online community through Slack to share experiences and connect with others
*You do not need to have any musical experience to take part in this project.
