Join Making the Future and The Conservation Volunteers for a special programme at the Ulster Folk Museum on 20th and 27th October.
During this two workshop programme you will explore the mythology and folklore of the area while getting hands-on practical skills in seed harvesting, biodiversity and preparation for tree planting.
How will the programme work?
- Connect with The Conservation Volunteers at the Ulster Folk Museum and find out how the charity are creating new ways for people to access green spaces in the museum.
- Day one is called 'Seeds of Change' where you will go on a tree folklore walk and take part in an autumn seed harvest workshop.
- Day two is 'Wondrous Willow' when you will learn about the importance of biodiversity and contribute to willow peg preparation and planting.
This programme is FREE and open to anyone aged 18+.
Session take place at the Ulster Folk Museum. Please only register if you are able to attend both dates.
