Are you aged 15-20, based in Donegal or Derry-Londonderry and want to make a film using your own smartphone?
Join Making the Future & Make Film History* in this free, two-day online programme where you will:
~ Learn how to film and edit videos using your own smartphone or tablet device with Poca Productions.
~ Take part in a Q&A session with critically acclaimed filmmaker Tadhg O'Sullivan.
~ Gain access to moving image portals like IFI Player, DFA Player, BFI Player and BBC iPlayer to view archive footage to create your own unique film.
~ Engage with other participants through Zoom and share your work with each other through our safe community on Slack.
~ Premiere your film at the Rathmullan Film Festival which is due to take place online in February 2021.
*You will need access to a smartphone or tablet to take part in this programme.
Workshop dates:
Session 1: Saturday, 30 January 11am-3pm
Session 2: Saturday, 6 February, 11am-2pm
This programme is FREE and open to young people aged 15-20 based in the Donegal or Derry-Londonderry area.
