The Nerve Centre's Creative Hothouse returns this Easter to give young people aged 11-18 a platform to pursue their music, film, photography and design dreams.
Creative Hothouse is an intensive five days of creation and performance workshops from April 5-9, 2021, led by renowned industry professionals. Push your creative talents to the max and hone the creativity, composition and collaboration skills of masters and novices alike.
How does it work?
~ Choose one of the creative areas to focus on throughout the week: Music, Film, Graphic Design or Photography
~ You will both develop new skills in your chosen area and get the opportunity to work collaboratively as a group of creatives e.g. you could be showcasing those graphic design skills for one of the newly-formed bands, editing a music video or curating a photography exhibition, depending on the area you choose to specialise in.
~ You will be mentored by accredited industry professionals who will provide hands-on training and attend panel talks for knowledge building and networking opportunities.
Don’t miss out - spaces on the hothouses go fast! All you need to take part is a creative and adventurous spirit.
This is a FREE programme. For more information please contact Head of Music at Nerve Centre, Marty McGill: m.mcgill@nervecentre.org
