Illustrate the archives with spooky comics programme

Learn the art of comic book creation and work with writer & illustrator John D. Ruddy in this free week-long online programme.

You will delve into the archives at PRONI to uncover real stories of witches, ghosts and ghouls from across Ulster!

Then learn the tricks of the trade to write, draw, colour and letter your own comic book story and bring those spooky stories to life.

How will the programme work?

- Take part in drawing and colouring workshops with John D. Ruddy.

- Develop, write and draw your own comic book story inspired by spooky stories from PRONI's archives.

- An online community hosted through Slack will bring participants together to share their work

This programme is FREE and open to young people aged 9-13 and based in Northern Ireland or border counties.

Workshops take place each day from 26-30 October, 10am-12:30pm.

Sign up early as places are limited.
