Saturday 20 April, 10am – 3pm
Linen Hall Library
The women's history roadshow encourages you to bring forward your family heirlooms and hidden historic gems to offer an insight into women's history in Northern Ireland. Items are also welcome that pre-date partition in 1921.
This is a unique opportunity to bring female narratives to the fore by sharing your objects and your stories with the Women In The Archives team. With your permission the items will be photographed and catalogued together with some audio-visual recording as part of the 'Women In The Archives' project. All items will be returned to you on the day.
Entry to the show is FREE and everyone is welcome. The roadshow will open to the public at 10.00am and visitors are welcome to drop in between 10am-3pm with or without objects to share. If you wish, you can tell us in advance about your special items by emailing j.burke@linenhall.com
This is a family friendly event which will also include a fun women's history 'green screen' and 3D printing demonstrations by the Nerve Centre.
