The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) are running a summer filmmaking programme from 1st July - 5th July for young people aged 13-16.
The FREE programme will allow participants to get hands on with cutting edge technology including green screen, 360° cameras and virtual reality to create a series of short films.
Participants will use archive collections about women housed at PRONI and use the power of film to explore remarkable stories and bring them to life.
Throughout the week you will:
>Get exclusive access to PRONI collections
>Select stories, develop storyboards & plan a film shoot
>Learn how to use exciting tech to create 360° and VR films
>Shoot, edit and premiere your film
>Gain an OCN qualification
Sessions will take place at PRONI and at Nerve Belfast and will run from 10am - 3.30pm each day. Participants should bring a packed lunch each day. No previous experience is required.
