New engagement programme to uncover suffrage stories with a digital trail

A new community engagement programme aimed at uncovering the stories of suffragettes will begin in Whitehead this June.

Led by the Linen Hall Library, as part of the Women in the Archives strand of Making the Future, you will have the chance to:

>Visit the Linen Hall Library, Public Record Office of Northern Ireland and sites in Dublin to explore the history of suffrage

>Undertake your own research and take part in suffrage walking tours

>Turn your findings into a series of short films and reenactments and create a bespoke digital suffrage trail to launch later this year

The new programme begins Monday 24th June, is completely free (including transport for site visits) and anyone with an interest is encouraged to get involved.

For more information and to sign-up, contact Jason Burke at the Linen Hall Library: j.burke@linenhall.com or 028 9032 1707.
