Women in the Archives is coming to South Armagh to help you create films about women’s contributions to the social fabric of the area!
Join us for a FREE 7 week workshop programme where you will:
• Explore the past, present and future of artistic practices in the region, such as lace-making and hand-crafting
• Learn filmmaking techniques and create your own film
• Share group and individual stories, hopes and aspirations for the future
• Take part in trips to Belfast to carry out research in institutions such as the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI), Ulster Museum and Ulster Folk Museum
• Meet local groups & develop new partnerships and collaborations
Spaces are limited and the programme requires availability from participants to engage for the full seven weeks. All genders and backgrounds welcome.
VENUE: Across South Armagh (Crossmaglen, Creggan & Mullaghbawn)
